    My point about using ASADA was that the tests need to be done by an independent body who has no motive to cover up the results and protect their "stars". I assume ASADA would have no problem if the NRL asked them to test for illicit drugs on non-match days.

    The rule always used to be interpreted the way you described RufusRex - if you were making a tackle and the ball came into contact with your hand or arm (please note Waltzing Meninga), then it was a knock-on/six again/knock back (depending on which way the ball went and who came up with it)...

    Benji is still very young. If I was him, I would take the rest of 2007 and all of 2008 off to try and get it right (and suitably strengthened) before returning in 2009...... maybe even 2010 if that is what it takes. If it works, he would still have a good 6+ years ahead of him.
