    Yep agree. I still shake my head that we wasted 3 full seasons playing Amone at 5/8 & all we got was a couple of individual tries from 15m out from the line. Apart from those minimal flashes there was nothing deeper to display. Oh & rubbish edge defence that led to very simple tries.

    Agree. The game was replayed on Fox just before Christmas. We were even with 59 seconds to go & Hunt ran the ball on the 5th instead of kicking it downtown. South’s couldn’t believe their luck. The rest is history with a simple set finished with Reynold’s 3rd field goal.

    He’s not alone on that. In our last few games this year we had only 4 or 5 players performing at a First Grade level - certainly not the fullback, wing, centre, five eighth & most of the forward pack.

    Received a Rd V Member birthday email from the club. Had 3 NRL & 3 NRLW players featured - graphics/signatures. Our NRL Club captain was not among them - quickly identified by my kids……
