    Tim Smith / Brett Finch

canberra could be one....imo broncos would make a big play on t.smith.

A few positives but still alot of improvement left

I wouldnt sat very good, but he is our best option at halfback and if he builds on this will be dominate once again. Also i thought our scramble defence was good....they made a number of breaks but we always seemed to stop it, even if they did have support players. I also think we need to...

It may have been ugly, but.............

He did take on the line a few times, almost scored in the first half by taking on the line....i think his starting to work his game out. He had a few heavy kicks on him, but that will improve as he plays more games.

    Catalans Dragons denied Hindmarsh fee

I think we all new he will never find that form again...he will be solid without being spectacular....just another wagon.

    Positional Values

Dont look so much on the position, but what the player brings to that position and club...with grothe, when fit he is like a second rower playing on the wing....carts the ball out of is own half and has the speed and individual brilliance to finish off a play.

    PJ Injured?

ive always said, if we could put a fitness program in place for riddell, and get 70/80 mins out of him, he would make a great lock....but the problem has always been his time on the field...i think a lock needs to be an 80 min player!

    Trial 1 V Sharks **Team**

So your basing your judgment on one game that happend ages ago and what one person said.....bit intersting that considering that T.Smith has played and destroyed most NRL teams in the 05 season and our great sterling said he was our future and we should give him time to develop....yet you think...

    PJ Injured?

Oh well, injuries will always occur....it will allow someone else to step up....and if we are gonna be a real threat this year, it will depend on how these fringe first graders do the job when given the oppertunity.

Parra Pete, still wondering on why you think Lett will be a superstar?

    Trial 1 V Sharks **Team**

    What makes u say that?

    Trial 1 V Sharks **Team**

Well you got Robinson, I Hindmarsh, Fa'osoa, Cannings, Tsolous, Mateo, Cordoba, Wagon and Lowrie competing for 5 positions (12, 13, 15, 16, 17)...who logically are first choice. The only way them two will start the season is if they are ausome trial form and the above perform horribly.

    Trial 1 V Sharks **Team**

They will find it difficult to get in the 1st grade squad at the start of the season....but with injuries and form they will come into contention.

    Trial 1 V Sharks **Team**

1 First Grader, 2/3 Possible First Graders with the rest youngsters coming through....pretty much as i expect for the first trial.....Key interest in Lett, Inu, Mateo, Fa'aoso and Cannings
  18. Prodigal Eel

    Fa'aoso up front at Eels

all we need is one more hard head....be it cannings or fa'aoso, so when fui is off the fild we got another monster to put holes in there defence.

    The 2007 Best Backline Debate

Agree....parra's could be better depending on a coupke of things. Hayne to fullback...he will play on the wing this year but he is destined to play fullback...is much better there and is more confident in his own abilities. Inu to wing...people may not know bout him but he was better then...

    Whos excited about Finch?

is over rated...really one thing roosters do have is the ability to spot and hold onto juniors......if he cant cut it at rooster he wont cut it here!
