Go ahead!...ask us anything!

Just been following the updated livescores from the LeagueUnlimited Web Address. Great site with alot of useful information and articles. Well done to those folks responsible. A couple of unimportantquestions: Who does the live score updates and comments on the matches (reporters for the site or...

    The Footy Quiz

I'd have said Russell Fairfax too. I also can't remember anyone prior to him doing so. I'm just wondering how far back the player goes. Are we correct to be assuming a fullback as the answer? Or has the question been worded in such a way to throw us all off track a little? It could be a winger...

The (almost) 1Million Dollar Man - RLW

I'm on the same level as thinking as Vertigo on this topic, Eels Fan. If Darren Lockyer is a cleaner cut and in the news a far lot less than Gorden Tallis for all the wrong reasons (judiciary appearences and whatever), then how is he far from the marketable force that Gordie is. I thought...

The (almost) 1Million Dollar Man - RLW

Tallis is richest NRL player: RLW Brisbane captain Gorden Tallis is reportedly the National Rugby League's highest money earner. Tallis is the closest thing to the game's million-dollar man, according to Rugby League Week, who claim the Raging Bull collects $925,000 a season. While the Broncos...

Is this the worlds greatest flame?

Jusy saw this reading through older discussions. What a rant! It certainly is well written but... It was a tad little too indepth if I was to get picky though. If the person (the text was directed to) really was that stupid, they would have gotten lost within the first 10 lines at best. Plus...

    Go ahead!...ask us anything!

Thanks ElDuque. I'm even now more surprised at the goings on at some clubs. Anyone know of a link where the salary cap is explained in detail?

    Go ahead!...ask us anything!

Thanks again for your help gentlemen. Have one other question which I've always wondered about: With the NRL salary cap. Does the salary cap only involve the starting 13 of each team...the 17 man squad....or something other?

Good discussion going on here. They're often used in the warez underground and have the coolest functions and abilities such as invisible mode. What exactly is the warez underground ?

    Sherwin set to quit Dogs

First the article say this; Player manager, Mark Rowan has placed Sherwin's worth at over $300,000 per season - a figure the Bulldogs didn't get close to. and then the article states this; Bulldogs CEO Steve Mortimer said last night he believed the offer to Sherwin was appropiate and...

    Best ever car chase scene

Gone In 60 Seconds (both the original 1974 version and 90's version were great. Was her name Elanore?) The French Connection(a great chase scene considering when it was done) The Rock (the Ferrari and Hummer scenes were terrific) I haven't seen Ronin but I hear the chase scene is something else.

The Crawford Report / Restructuring Soccer Australia

Thanks for the clarification MFC. I apologise for my lack of insight into reading your post with an open mind. I missread/missinterpreted your post. Good follow up too. Clubs such as Marconi and Olympic Sharks have every right to be successful. Absolutly MFC. Marconi has a very rich history...

The Crawford Report / Restructuring Soccer Australia

Before I sign off for the day and the weekend, I'd just like to print parts of a well written article by Les Murray on the SBS page, and his opinion on Frank Lowy's proposed interest in running SA. Les Murray clears the air to those who suggest that Lowy is on a power trip. The persona of Frank...

The Crawford Report / Restructuring Soccer Australia

Some great posts on this page gentlemen and well done and thankyouto all. The comments on David Hill and his performance as the onetime head of SAare no surprise to me, butI had no idea he had stuffed up just aboutevery other managerial position he held too. I think the biggest damage Hill did...
