    agreed , although i think that the metre eater forward we are looking for in the mould of stringer is either cannings or paolo, but paolo looks to make more metres on average than what cannings does the balance needs to be rectified with either robinson/wagon/ian hindy making way for hauraki...

    nowhere near right he thought they'd have a good chance against melbourne .. scoreline doesnt say so he talked us down, because him and omeley were missing against us, bulldogs probably couldnt have played better against us that night

    agree on that point i just think his tackling workload wont go down anymore, even if we tried to, because he has to cover for other people in defence while also being the 1st or 2nd player there to take the ball up i want him to have less of a workload in defence so he could last longer for...

    if he were to play front row , i'd think he'd become less effective, although if you look at his role now, it looks like he practically plays like one just a different number on his back.. defends in middle of the ruck, runs one out from dummy half (not off the halves like how he used to)

    his running game has considerably gone downhill since sustaining that knee injury back in 2005 i think for him to get back into a running backrower, he has to get lighter to help him cope with the workload and to help provide less stress on his arthritic feet i think hes 107 now .. maybe down...

    he wouldn't have helped our go forward obviously, but would have helped in the decision making from the halves and on last tackle options, especially in the first half where we couldnt get to the kick most of the time. our record speaks for itself without burt

    agreed , if the forwards aren't going forwards, theres no room for your halves to work or your backs to get the ball in open space
