    I believe Melb/Bellamy play to the refs. They recognise the inconsistencies and instead of just whinging about them they (Smith inparticular) play refs the refs better than anyone else in the game taking advantages that other teams miss out on.

    Ha! Wonder if they'll still be handing out paraphernalia on Saturday night? If you were a 'professional' group of people with strong business acumen and corporate governance, wouldn't you check your eligibility before nominating? Surely you would at least check the eligibility of the alliance...

    Just out of curiosity, have you compared the 'experience and business success' of that group versus the current? Or you only looking at the one group?

    Fair point. I may have been overly picky, though it's their first contact, as a unit, with the general sharks fans. You would surely attempt to get things right? Do they not know each other very well? Is it a group of names thrown together haphazardly without knowing if they can work together...

    Assuming Robson is at 7 I would have the Chad. With Carney in though, I would have Chad at 7 and possibly Robson at 9. DeGois can do some much needed extra pass the ball training with the under 10s.

    Most previous deals, and most other clubs deals all involve some form of contra as well. Tickets, boxes, corporate events, flights and accom for state of origin games, grand final etc etc etc. All ultimately coming off the supposed value of the sponsorship. An $800k per year deal could quickly...
