    Wannabies Unions URL's

Seems that the Union in Australia are out to create confusion with internet search engines with regards to URL's and possibly people searching for the NRL or ARL. Check these out: http://nrl.rugby.com.au/ http://arl.rugby.com.au/ There game is sh*t, so they use our Great Game to promote...

    RL working with RU

725 divided by 12 teams over ten years = 60.416m per team. 421 divided by 14 teams over five years = 30.071m per team. Multiply 30.071 by 2 to get a ten year figure equals 60.142m for 14 teams. This a crude way of calculating the value of each of the deals but it does highlight the fact...

TN 2006 - Game #2 - Australia vs New Zealand - Live Updates (7:25pm)- *spoilers*

Any attacking player taking a defensive player out of the play to create space is obstruction. Isn't it ? This is what happened in both cases, same tactical attacking move by Australia, two different rulings from the ref.

TN 2006 - Game #2 - Australia vs New Zealand - Live Updates (7:25pm)- *spoilers*

Right there, especially the move to create the space in the final winning try. It was the exact same move that was used in the prior disallowed try, but that try was given. :? Very strange rulings.

    It Is Alive!!!!!

Time does flies. f**k I'm getting old. I forgot about the PR games. There was also a RLIF tournament earlier this year with some of the Pacific Islands. I think it was in late February and games were played a Waitakere and North Harbour. Don't remember who won but it was arranged by the RLIF.

    It Is Alive!!!!!

I know that the Cooks have played 2nd level test matches against the NZ Maori in the past few years. These matches rated really well on the Maori TV channel in NZ and should be an annual event. I think the last time Tonga played in NZ is when Stacey Jones broke his arm. That was about 4 years...

    $300,000 for Fiji Rugby league

This is great news for the game in the Islands. I only hope they use the money wisely. Also, if Vodafone are now sponsoring the Rugby League team, who is now the sponsor for their Union side. I don't really care but it is a major shift between sports by a global company. Does this mean that...

    Lowes view on Yawnion

There is only one word that can describe the new and improved foxsports website and that is "JUNK". My advice, avoid the site.

    Lowes view on Yawnion

Graham Lowe uses the terms "Rugby League" and "rugby union" on a radio talkshow every monday morning here in NZ. I believe the rugby/league terms come from the NZ herald newspaper editoral staff. The problem is the pro-unionists journalist here. I've heard comments made such as "NRL League"...

    New Franchises are cellar dwellers

Do you think that the issue of the standard of play in the BC is due to the number of players leaving to go and play in Australia or else where in the RL playing world ? I remember a figure of 100 to 150 players left New Zealand in one year. If this is the case, then the question must be...

    Wednesday 17 - 5 -2006 - Where is the RLIF website day!

One recommendation that I have is to ensure that the site is multilingual. Allow and help those non-english speaking parts of the world to learn, understand, hopefully follow then play TGG. Not all languages obviously, but some major one i.e. French, Spanish, German, Russian etc. Also, I read...
