I'm only listening to it, but there must have been more to it if Luke got put on report.

Well we just saw Sandow get knocked to the ground whilst kicking, whilst in the air ... any other week, any other team that would have been penalty to the Rabbitohs. But no call.

That means consistency is OUT THE WINDOW!

I've heard it a few times off a few people, I don't think anyone has really complained about it. After all, I think Sandow would love the comparison.

the very notion of pointing out his race is essentially racist. why can't they just say 'the next allan langer'?

anyway. thats just the arts student in me coming out.

It's only a racist statement if it's used in a derogatory fashion. If anything, the statement is celebratory, and not to mention that it's not a statement meant to oppress a race of people, so it's perfectly okay.

it's not about whether they called him aboriginal, it's offensive cause it means that he's not in the same category as allan langer.

he's not being called 'the next alfie', he's being called 'the aboriginal alfie'.

as in if u refer to someone as allan langer the AUTOMATIC assumption is they're white ... if they're aboriginal u have to point it out cause it's some kind of shock or something.

they play the same game, in the same comp, the fact that he's aboriginal has nothing to do with it unless your first assumption is that all great halves are whities.

it's like they're saying he's almost as good as alfie, but he's playing in the koori league.
