This is the perfect example of why Round 1 results are not the end of the world. I have heard from everywhere all week that Parramatta are "certainties for the top 4" and Penrith are 'Wooden Spooners".

Parramatta may well still win this game, but the point still stands.

Quality finish to the half from Penrith there, a good pickup by Gordon and good shifting across the park. I think Jennings had ample support for the Panthers to keep going but they kept the try out.

Mortimer may well be rubbish, but he's not our issue. Penrith's pack is eating ours alive - THAT is the problem. We're making 35 metres a set, and nobody is able to get anything going.
