So 2 guys originally get put in the bin for running in 5 metres and throwing punches but 4 Manly players run over 30 metres to get involved and throw punches at a guy on the ground and there is nothing done? unbelievable.

Refs only bin someone if they can bin someone else from the other team. Since it was all Manly players, they couldn't do anything.

That Lussick is just scum. Just cause it's a footy field doesn't mean you can hit people on the ground who are covered up by 4 other players. If that happened out on the street, Lussick could go to jail ffs!

Um, what do think was going to happen, both teams get ready for the scrum and look from 30 meters while Stewart and Blair punch on?

Just so happens the Manly players were closer, so they got their first. It Storm players were the same distance, then they would have run over and joined the punch-on...

Awesome first half! Manly look well on top a won the fight easily. I love playing Melbourne, there's a lot of feeling every game. Sham Glen got sent ten minutes was about right.

Blair should have walked off and that would've given time for Stewart to have been off the field.

But Blair decided to run off and when he caught up with Stewart,it seemed that he was provoking Stewart.

I don't blame Stewart for punching the idiot ( and for all that Stewart knew, how would he know that Blair wasn't going to king hit him)after that being that we don't know what was said but you can bet it was something provocative from Blair.

Brilliant first half by the Manly side in leading 14-0 at half time.

Why wouldn't Stewart run from the field also?
The sin bin begins when the player is on the tunnel and off the field, not when the ref tells them to go.
That's why most players run from the field when given ten.

No defending Stewart here in this incident. If he had of jogged from the field, it wouldn't have happened.

The AFL brigade are going to have a field day in the media with that blue!

It's better then anything they dish up, and if anything has created more excitement and tension in the game.
The public likely would have liked to see it (majority of the public).

I reckon Stewart was ready to share a smile and a chat with Blair until Blair incited the whole thing with abuse.

Stewart instantly reacted with a hay maker.

Lussak was the one who started the entire thing and filthy prick should have been given 10 minutes at the start of it all.

After he turned around and saw the manly players were running in.
