if I was fensom I'd have quite a few unkind words towards captain shillington. Once again the lazy oaf goes missing with fensom picking up the slack for the rest of the forward pack.

i'll be amazed if fensom isn't picked for the blues this year

He went off after about 15 minutes with a head gash, Gidley was forced to play centre with a concussion and Quinn on the wing. McManus came back second half though.

Yeah my bad I meant he never went off for the game he came back on

This thread is actually a better Easter gift than the Knights winning. Thanks raiDUH fans; you're so considerate.

Good to know that they're basing shoulder charge penalties on the size of the player doing the shoulder charge. If that was a front rower he'd be looking at a week on the sideline. Ahh well, they shouldn't be penalised anyway.

Knights clearly the better side; if you're using the lack of a penalty for a soft shoulder charge as an excuse/turning point, well that says it all really.

Another raiders loss another Skeepe refs meltdown and R69 still has his head so far up his arse he refuses to acknowledge anything the opposition has done. Classic stuff, bring on Round 9 in the Canberra Shithole.

 knights have been offside every f**king tackle. Suttor can go drown in a vat of acid

Man of the Match: Brett Suttor & Gerard Sutton (Newcastle Knights) (joint winners)

Completely strangled the Raiders out of the game with a string of f**king abominable decisions in favour of the Knights.
:nwave: Hi skeepe!

I can understand fans who are complaining about the refs, I felt the Raiders looked threatening with ball in hand, they made easy metres a good part of the second half but a few calls influenced the flow of the game. Not just the shoulder charge and Wighton taken out in the air, I can't quite recall the other smaller ones but I was feeling that the Raiders were copping bad calls pretty much all game.

The Raiders didn't complete the sets that we did to stay in it. Got some dud calls, but fell to pieces when things didn't go their way, instead of rolling up their sleeves. Mullens kicking kept turning them around, too. He's in great touch right now... and it's off the back of our pack being sensational for us.

Pretty much sums up the game I watched....don't know what the fock skeepe was watching......

Nah he went off about 10 minutes or so later. Finished with croker on the wing and Thompson at centre.

That is the only ref error that annoyed me really because it certainly wasn't malicious by uate or anything but the knights scored directly after it and its cost us probably our most talented young player for a few weeks at least.

Well, as a result it looks like Jack Wighton may have a broken wrist.

How the f**k that wasn't a penalty is beyond me.
Wighton should have karate kicked Uate in the face when he went up for the ball since that is legal now.

I thought we played like shit but still could have won it as the Knights weren't much better than us. We had two disallowed tries and one dropped ball over the line and the result could have been entirely different.

There were some highly suspect refereeing decisions but at the end of the day it was the dropped ball and the lack of urgency at times that cost us the game.

Uate's mid air tackle on Wighton wasn't malicious but it still should have been a penalty regardless. But the lack of consistency in refereeing isn't something that is going to change any time soon. Refereeing f**kups are just part of the game, though some teams seem to get a lot more of them than others.
