I thought the reversal of the qld knock on by the bunker deep in qld's half after new had set after set on our line was a little bit bullshit

Seriously dont get tne hate for Jackson. His defense was immense and NSW played the other side most of the night.QLD had done nothing down his side all night and the moment he went off Thurston went straight through.

Not all low scoring games are duds. There are good ones where great attack is just beaten by greater defense. This wasn't one of them. It was mediocre attack from both teams.
Agreed. I've seen some amazing low scoring games with great attack, just thwarted by last second defense.

Neither side looked like they knew what to do in attack. Tries that were scored was due to bad defense more than anything special in attack.

The only howling decision in that game was the one that resulted in a NSW try, that pass was ridiculously forward

NSW really lacks a player who can completely organise the attack and the direction of the team. We haven't had a player like that since Andrew Johns. I really feel if we had a half who can take control of a game like that then we'd win.

We can't expect young guys like Moylan or Reynolds in their first Origin to take control of the attack in that way.

I'm a big fan of Dylan Walker.... I think he's one heck of a talent....

But I don't get what the thinking was with picking him and only playing him in the final 10mins.

You pretty much handicap your pack by depriving them of another forward.

I understand having an impact guy off the bench... But surely they could have used him in the back end of the first half also...

Just seemed strange...

The players are so focused on just carting the ball up.

That's true ... but I wish Tamou and Woods would just run hard at the line instead of jogging in and trying to engage players in an attempt to win an offload. Fifita and Gallen (and Papali) showed how to do it - just run in hard. The offload will present itself naturally when you bowl a couple of players over.

Reynolds wow what a terrible performance, very Pearce like.
Surely Tedesco for Moylan is a must for game 2. I'd go Peats or Ennis for Farah aswell, the guy is definitely past it and he was pretty average to begin with. Hopefully Dugan will be fit too.
