Because they want to return their brand to the NRL.Why do norths want to?

Well lets see who owns it and if we get 12 games.Who's this no one? Roger Cook seems on board so does a heap of his underling/workers, NRL seems to be on board, bears fans all over too, about a decade ago, you'd hear the opposite from most of them, saying that they shouldn't need to leave NS or CC, now they are ok, being so long without a hope of return, you guys seem triggered about the whole Sydney affiliation, you forget that they'll be a upto 12 regular home games coming to your west coast to watch regardless whether you support the bears or not, if you do though, and do it well a possible future could see another rival born of WA roots becoming a 2nd team, just like the eagles/freo in fumbleball, you're all too short sighted, the clamouring for a nz2 the past 6 months come out of the Warriors succesful turn out last season, and start of this season
All of which can be achieved by partnering with any number of east coast second tier clubs.Yes but Rome wasn’t built in a day, slow and steady wins the race.
Do you want a competitive Perth team from day one or do you want a successful pathways first and foremost.
If you start off competitive you won’t have to offer talented kids top dollar to come across.
The pathways will look after themselves in the early years and you’d start to focus on them around year three or four.
The main thing is to be competitive in the NRL from the beginning.
That’s not buying the best players either, it’s buying the best competitors and the best fit for your organisation, the rest will slot together.
A team from North Sydney linking with Perth is fine, but one from QLD isn't?What other teams could offer ?, who ?, nearly every NSW Cup club has a NRL counterpart with the exception of Newtown Jets, Blacktown Workers or the Bears.
The QLD Cup is very different with many smaller clubs involved, as well as bigger clubs like the Redcliffe Dolphins, Wynnum Manly Seagulls, Brisbane Tigers and the Burleigh Bears.
Why would any of these clubs link with a WA team when they would have the same agreement with teams from a closer location lol.
Bears and should atleast be 11 Perth games, hopefully 12 if they are smart, leave the trials or a manly home game for NSOWell lets see who owns it and if we get 12 games.
The sooner you set up the pathways in Perth the better, 6 years is a great lead in time to do that.Yes but Rome wasn’t built in a day, slow and steady wins the race.

I'm not convinced Sydney ownership is the best way forward.Bears and should atleast be 11 Perth games, hopefully 12 if they are smart, leave the trials or a manly home game for NSO
The Bears paid South Sydney to be their feeder club, the deal with the Roosters was totally different.Do they?
Bears got paid $30k from the Roosters in '22. Nothing in the accounts showing they paid the Roosters anything.
37Count the white hairs on Sticky’s head, make a prediction on the number by the end of 2029.
The Roosters also paid Central Coast junior rugby league $20K each season for their representative pathways teams. Its clear the Roosters deal was for a payment of $30k a year to the Bears. Looks like the Storm deal they arent getting anything or paying anything.
So Perth will be able to source clubs willing to pay to be their feeder? The Bears paid South Sydney to be their feeder club, the deal with the Roosters wasn’t as costly. This was a result of the Wyong Roos Board who had voted to leave the NSW Cup and cut ties with the Roosters because of the inflated expenses involved.
You are just putting a negative spin on them. Kind of your modus operandi for all things bar your favourite sport fumbleballI wasnt the one trying to make them sound something they werent lol
Thats how i thought these arrangments worked. Happy to be corrected.

Its pretty clear that every partnership is different lol.So Perth will be able to source clubs willing to pay to be their feeder?

Perth needs a WA jnr rep program funded by the NRL club.Yes.
But will that same club be willing to drop $2m to run junior development teams?
You are confusing the issues here.
Perth needs a junior rep program as well as a feeder team
Bears are already starting to annoy perth fans. Social media is abuzz with annoyed perth fans due to the fact the Sydney media are just talking about the Bears return, not about that Perth is returning to make a more National RL.
Geez by 2030 North Sydney Oval may not be up to standard to play NRL on so don’t panic guys, the powers that be ruled that way back in 1997, that’s why the Bears were moving to Bluetongue Stadium now Central Coast Stadium in 1999.Bears and should atleast be 11 Perth games, hopefully 12 if they are smart, leave the trials or a manly home game for NSO
Yes, they need both. The developement teams needs to be set up in Perth though. Otherwise I dont why you would expand here.Yes.
