Yeah, I was just too young. But country uncle and cousins used to come stay at our place before/after heading in to the SCG to cheer on the Mighties
Was too young myself, but remember vividly my Father (a Tigers supporter) telling me about a team that had won 11 straight and thinking, even as a 5 or so old, that`s the team for me.
A life-long love affair that I have passed onto my youngest. Seeing that Red V without all the advertising still unfailingly stirs something in me.

I had some memorabilia signed by gasnier and langlands worth 5k and it got destroyed by water when it wasn’t stored properly

it's a great day on the ferries too, i took my missus on one from circular quay to taronga park then to manly. had a swim then back to the motel The worst part was we both went to LO the next day and watched Balmain get belted by Easts.

Cumins has clearly said perths preference is to stand alone but if Bears can show a commercial reason he isnt going to be stupid about it.
Let’s see if Bears offer a big enough financial carrot when they meet.

Yes, the set up for him to save face has already been set up.

Again, not everybody can win Premierships, have the Titans ?, despite having multiple identities since 1988 with the Giants, the Seagulls, the Gladiators, the Chargers oh and they also tried to be called the Dolphins.
The Warriors have never won a Premiership despite having the whole Country of NZ to themselves.
The Sharks have won one GF in 57 years and the Cowboys also have a single title.
Now go and find some Northern Beaches talent in the Blacktown juniors lol.
Not everyone can win, that’s true, but at least clubs like the Warriors have made some first grade grand finals since TV began officially broadcasting in Australia.

If you want to talk about success on the field and Manly, since Manly has been in the comp, the Bears have won zero premierships. In that same period, Manly won six while the Bears were still in the comp and another two after for a total of eight.
