Now you are talking about home grown juniors ?, always moving the goal posts,.
I’m just stating 14 NRL Sharks contracted players v 16 NSW Cup Bears contracted players.
C’mon even you have to admit that’s a great effort.
As for NRL players from the Bears system, Kaeo Weekes (Canberra Raiders) actually came from the Bears junior club competition with the Asquith Magpies and Jacob Preston (Canterbury Bulldogs) though a Manly junior came through the Bears NRL Pathways System e.g. Matts, Ball, Flegg, NSW Cup.
Both Jesse Marschke (St George Dragons) and Rueben Porter (Wests Tigers) signed NRL contracts from leaving the Bears NSW Cup side this season.
Bro please don’t explain the Newtown thing

its to catch out all the stupid people who have nfi

I’ve been to Henson park for nsw cup what a dump

suits Perth perfectly

Looks like Newtown is more relaxed with their list of demands and just want "Jets" to come back. Just need to sort out the pathways.

If anything, Perth Jets or West Coast Jets is probably more appropriate compared to Bears or Pirates. Every second week, the team will be on a plane to an away game. They will spend many hours flying to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Townsville, Canberra and Auckland.

Also one of their Fumbleball sides is the West Coast Eagles. What does an eagle do?

I could live with the Jets. It's an iconic brand in rugby league.

You didn’t answer my question. If none of the current bears squad is actually from the ns area then how is showing any value?

Compared to the ongoing arrogance of the go anywhere bears this from singleton is a breath of fresh air. Actually talking perth up not just his own cause. Maybe west coast jets is a better alternative for us?

“The future of rugby league is in Perth. It has a great stadium, great fan base, great government, great sponsorship market and allows for a new broadcast market with 2.3 million eyeballs.
“It also has potential of participation levels to follow NSW and Queensland.“

Only brand issue is nrl has a plethora of blue jerseys and doesn’t need another one. I wonder what we could do with the colours to not be yet another blue and white nrl team?

Yep, but at least he’s talking perth up, not just seeing it as a convenient host for the parasite!
If he’s willing to fund Newtowns jnr set up and if there are other backers willing to pump in start up cash then sounds like perth gets its own team with very few strings attached, without the arrogance and gets the east coast pathway and extra investment to make nrl happy.

Meh it’s not that important. Throw some orange in the colour scheme. Maybe yellow, black and blue although they are close to the Force colours.
