I used to think rationalising Sydney was a great idea, but I've come to realise that the last thing the game needs is to start causing that sort of shit in the game again just as we are getting our act together. I want our game to grow, not give a ''six again'' to rival codes.

Realistically AFL only got such a massive upswing due to competition for the rights. It will boil down to that. You can sell ads for more the bigger the audience. And as I said the largest % of media revenue comes from PTV not FTA and that will continue to shift in the years ahead.
What's letting us down at moment is content and metro reach, and a chairman who let us get shafted big time.
