The easy solution is:

pacific red bottomed pirates with a heritage game at NIB park. Will stop chinas growing influence in the region, tap into the booming west coast market and end world hunger
Problem solved

It’s an nrl clubs job to scout and develop the cream of the crop and have them debut in nrl. It’s not their jobs to get as many kids playing RL as possible. that’s the job of the arlc, the state bodies and the league clubs if there is one.
Where that cream of the crop was born is largely irrelevant.
And if every club was like the Roosters and currently the Bulldogs, rugby league would die a slow death. Thank god for clubs like the Panthers.
If more clubs had bigger junior nurseries, maybe expansion would happen quicker instead of people saying that there isn’t enough talent out there.

That's exactly the point, Perth might have so much going for it, but players and adding to the player pool isn't going to happen for at least a half decade after its inception, especially coz of those other established teams who rely on the market heavily... its a shame coz we'd already be in a vast majority of untapped areas already, we'd might aready be thinking of 2nd sides in places like WA, VIC and NZ

Disease is a well managed club that invests in junior in a league of clubs that don’t

can’t blame them most of the nrl clubs are a rabble

I hope Penrith win 11 in a row if that’s what it takes for clubs to copy Penrith

we don’t want clubs like the roosters
I literally said that the Panthers weren't the disease...

Every club copying the Panthers would be just as bad for the RL and the NRL in different ways as them all copying the Roosters.

The point flew right over your head.

None of this has any relevance to the point I was making.

Sure kick out the dolphins and bring in Logan if dolphins aren’t doing well as Brisbane’s second team. Brisbane doesn’t need three teams.

...

For Fordham, making the most of this momentum looks like bringing more games to the region – and potentially another team.

Fordham: “We’re really committed to working with the NRL in growing the competition, and Queensland is a big part of that. We think there’s room for another team here in Queensland, and the Dolphins have been the perfect example.

Is a broadcaster taking into account sustainability, impact on sponsors, crowds, dilution of playing talent, junior development?

Could a broadcaster be only self interested in the lowest and cheapest form of content? For example, growing the game nationally to the point were out TV deal gets as big as the AFL's isn't in Channel 9's best interest.
