And if every club was like the Roosters and currently the Bulldogs, rugby league would die a slow death. Thank god for clubs like the Panthers.
If more clubs had bigger junior nurseries, maybe expansion would happen quicker instead of people saying that there isn’t enough talent out there.
Bit harsh on the bulldogs. 210 teams and 3500 players this year.

Well tbf having paid nothing I would be too lol. The nrl however shouldn’t be concerned about what ch9 wants given they paid sweet FA for the last club in brisbane.
Why would channel 9 pay anything for a new club? Its the NRL's decision to introduce a new team.

You're losing it pal, and that's concerning because you had very little to lose to begin with.

That’s why vlandys went to america to ask Murdoch permission.
That’s ok, Murdoch doesn’t own a team in perth a new club will be competing with. No need f9r his permission next time!

The fact he had to do that should tell you the likelihood of brisbane getting another club that will actually be a competitor for the broncos.

Why do you think stan are walking away from rugby union and getting ready to bid for every rugby league game in competition with fox

because unlike duds like the suns or giants the nrl can add dolphins or easts tigers
The pissant amount they pay for Union is irrelevant to this discussion.

Stan/C9 already pay for the Dolphins now, why would they pay more???

Nice false eloquence, IF ch9/Stan bid for the whole nrl it’s to get the whole nrl, any increase in the $115millmcash will be due to getting nine games to sell stan subscriptions, nothing to do with dolphins or brisbane3.

The fact the nrl brought another brisbane club in and ch9 refused to pay any more cash for it tells us all we need to know. we literally have the clear evidence of how much ch9 value more brisbane clubs in front of us.
If you wanted to argue tv value of brisbane3 you should use ptv who actually paid something for it!

Again because of the dolphins that’s why they want all the rights

the cash value of the dolphins is in the next tv deal

the club with zero cash value is Perth
Haha, let’s ignore the evidence of what has happened and say what’s going to be As if it’s matter of fact. Hmmmm. You are funny.

Mr Murdoch axed the Western Reds in 1997.

I see you're still being dishonest.

It's been pointed out to you that News Ltd paid an extra $20m per annum to have fewer Broncos games broadcast on Ch9.

Why would Ch9 pay more when they're losing access to the highest drawing team that generates more advertising revenue for the network than any other club?

You know all of this but ignore the pieces of evidence that don't support the bullshit you're trying to spin.

Er because prior ch9 were saying the same thing about brisbane2 as they are about brisbane3 lol.

So ch9 paid nothing for brisbane 2 but will for brisbane 3, hmmmmm.

did it actually lead to broncos being on fta less this season? There was conflicting media stories on that motivation at the time.
Wookie any stats on broncos fta covg this season compared to last?

Broncos matches on Nine dropped from 17 down to 13 this season. No Sunday FTA (2 last year, 0 this year), and 2 less Thursdays (down to 4). Fri (8) and Sat N (1) FTA remained the same.
