Nz2 will be on sky open

interesting you are comparing a small regional team to a proposed team in a major metro
I’m comparing a team rarely on ch9 given that seemed to be the argument for not being able to get corporate $’s.

havent sky open only got a ltd number of regular season games? Maybe they’ll get more next deal, maybe not.

Your conceding from the start perth have limited options re tv which was his point

it’ll be stuck behind a paywall

It may well be for most of its home games, works well for tv, works well for fans and works well for other clubs. But given 2/3rds of games are behind a paywall thats not unusual for clubs!
as cowboys show that’s no definite impediment to corporate support.

So little value to broadcasters as we’ve said all along lmao

When I was recently in Perth it was so good watching the footy, Thursday and Friday NRL games were televised at 5.30pm, so much time to do stuff afterwards.
When the Reds were in the competition what times did they kick off locally in Perth ?.

It's a bit like the Fri 6pm club game.

Any chance of the NS Bears working with the Browns Plains Bears in Logan?

If they can get a Leagues Club set up in the area then they could bid to become an NRL team based in the southern Brisbane metropolitan area. Billy Moore could help promote the bid. There are plenty of local juniors for the club.

How many this season? 1 thurs and maybe 2 Friday?
We held three in this time slot in 2023.

link? I haven’t ever seen any article suggesting they don’t want a team in perth.
Foxtel might be interested in a Perth-based team for the Sun 4pm AWST timeslot. Ch9 wouldn't want one because it would be useless to them.

Cowboys will be on Ch9 more than a Perth-based team.

So same as what’s been suggested for perth then lol
I can see nine perth home games on ptv at 6pm and 3 on fta in the fta Sunday afternoon slot. same split as cowboys.
ptv is getting as many viewers as fta these days so there should really be no concerns about impact on corporate $ as cowboys are showing,

tbh fta if it stays with nine isn’t going to be where the big money increase comes from, that will be ptv.
Ch9 showed last deal they don’t value expansion anywhere so unless the 9th game ends up being bought by fta we won’t see much uplift from them regardless of location of team.
