None of which has anything To do with the conversation we were having about the Bollox you were spouting about fta covg and ground signage lol
it was so dumb of you I can see why your taking things in a different direction!

You haven't disprove anything f I've said.

You don't even know how much money the Cowboys generate from signage because they lump it under "Game day and event income" ($7.4m) or "Sponsorship income" ($9.8m).

Yeh sure. Slashing development officers and funding to grassroots clubs is wasteful now? Where do you think the $45mill was saved??
I’d trust vlandys and abdo to spend the money wisely rather than you tbh

we have 50 million in assets on our way to 300 millon

that’s going to set the game up forever

we don’t want to waste so much money like afl does on states that don’t like our sport

100% on side with PR on this one. Sunday night 6pm game is perfect for Perth. It’s a crowd dead zone elsewhere but a prime time crowd wise for Perth. Same as NZ should monopolise the 6pm Friday game. If you want to build crowds and a tv audience in a new/growing market then give them regularity.

Problem with Perth getting that slot always is you are removing their opponents from the Thursday/Friday the following week.

That should be the next timeslot, Not sure any side should be locked into it. Especially if a state/NZ has the Monday as public holiday

There used to be 10k rugby league players in wa now theres 4000. That’s not efficiency it’s neglect. I keep hearing rugby league in the bush over east is in an even worse state. But yeh we’ll own some hotels lol
I guess America will be supplying players according to Pete so no need for arlc to be fulfilling its mandate in australia anymore?

Yeh but Auskick type numbers don’t mean a whole lot do they

a Perth nrl team will have juniors from under 16s up to reserve grade full of actual talented rugby league players

this will be topped up by govt funding for juniors

way better than the nrl wasting it’s money

rugby league in the bush is dieing because of population trends the nrl can’t change it

but Penrith are spending millions on bush areas

so are dogs

other clubs could also do the same

Haha you do talk rubbish. You do know signage is part of sponsorship packages don’t you?

All of these clubs were profitable allegedly on these revenues. Don’t worry perth will be fine.

Every single thing he says about rugby league in Australia is contradicted by his stance on rugby league in England

He's a hypocrite. I remember when he said Brisbane 2 needed to generate as much revenue as the Broncos. He doesn't hold Adelaide and Perth to such lofty standards.

I honestly think the game would benefit more from expanding into New Zealand and PNG than setting up new teams in Adelaide and Perth.

Brisbane 3
Nz2

offer more than Perth will ever offer even after 200 years

png with the govt behind them blow Perth out of the park

Even the area Penrith spend money in are losing teams, That is more than just footy.

People need to work and eat, playing sport takes a backseat

How do you know it's not listed under "Game day and event income"?

"Signage" is displayed at the ground on "game day".

It could fall under either category.

The Fremantle Dockers list "Signage and Advertising Revenue" directly under "Match Revenue" and before "Corporate Hospitality" on p30.

Dockers generate $3.7m from signage in a city that worships fumbleball. A Perth-based NRL team will be lucky to get half of that.

All of these clubs were profitable allegedly on these revenues. Don’t worry perth will be fine.

So why do you always whine about them "relying" on "pokie dens" if they're profitable from football operations?

Good question, earning as much as they, and more than some others, why do. they still need pokie money? Maybe stadium rent is ridiculous cost?

You've just done what I've accused you of doing. Arguing that the clubs are solvent on revenue from football operations, then claiming they need pokies.

The answer to your question is obvious. They're all looking to "thrive" rather than "survive". It's not cheap to fund the facilities and support staff that's required to maximise player performance and development.

A Perth-based team will need to "thrive" like the Storm to make a dent in the Western Australian market. The Storm overspent to "thrive" and needed to be bailed out by News Ltd and ARLC.

How will a Perth-based team generate the extra money it needs to "thrive"?

Yeh it’ll take the nrl 25 years to make the first two financially stable

Notice how he put two fumbleball cities that couldn't care less about RL above a country that does?

If he believed half the shit he says then he would be advocating for the RFL to do away with promotion and relegation and bring in franchises from Dublin, Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh.
