Further, in 1995 the Reds were 8th(out of 20) in terms of average home crowd, 13th(out of 20) in 96, and 8th (out of 10).1995 again? Perths population has almost doubled since then. 1996 and 1997 were also tumultuous years for League and pushed a lot of people away, many Sydney teams were getting sub 10k crowds.
So several other RL teams were lower than them in this period (including Cronulla Penrith, St George, Souths, Roosters, etc.)
So its reasonable to think that in 30 years, there would have been some growth (akin to what those other teams have seen).
So this is cherry picking at its finest. Its almost as stupid as the "ground signage" post.
