I've seen fumbleball grow in Springwood over the last 20 years. It's not as big as rugby league, but it's definitely grown its profile. They've invested heavily in the area.
So along with growing avg tv audience what you’re saying is nrl with some investment can also grow a bigger footprint in wa like afl has done In Western Brisbane? Sweet.
You really are turning into our #1 advocate!

If it comes down to the broadcasters' interests then there's only one candidate.

Head of Strategy WWOS Simon Fordham:
“We’re really committed to working with the NRL in growing the competition, and Queensland is a big part of that. We think there’s room for another team here in Queensland, and the Dolphins have been the perfect example."
Given how few games ch9 broadcast, and that the TV rights are up for renewal soon, I doubt they count for much.

One thing we do know, Aus TV gets nothing from a PNG side

Oh yeah and I know the president of the Springwood AFL and his politician mate Mick De Brenni heavily involved. Both were called out for corruption in the QLD senate and that gravy train has very much stopped. It was all artificial growth paid for by dirty money. Logan is and always will be RL through and through
I didn't realise Queensland had a senate.

Thats just just one of it’s problems, all be it a major one!
Seemingly no one wants to own a second nz club. Given the warriors chequered history it shouldnt be surprising I suppose businessmen aren’t falling over themselves to invest.

When you're a smartarse like this it's because you've lost.

I'll play along.

Where's the WARL going to get the money it needs to hire more development officers and run more school programs with scholarships?

It won't have a "pokie den" like the Lions@Springwood Social Club. ARLC won't invest in it. You've been whinging for years about the lack of funding for the affiliate states.

There is no such thing as a WARL and WA isn’t an affiliated state numb nuts.

Afl is investing in qlnd, not just a pokie den runnby lions.
In wa the arlc should be along with the new nrl, club bringing much more revenue to rugby league. Then we’ve got a wa govt seemingly keen to support participation in the game if an nrl license is granted.

so once again thank you for sharing the evidence that investing in a new market equals bigger tv audiences and greater participation. Can you send your finding to Vlandys please?

The Christchurch bid is a breath of fresh air over the one from the Perth pawnbroker.

Perth will struggle to sell sponsorship packages if none of their home games are on FTA.
Block chain funding idea and group of Local amateur clubs, yeh it’s a stonking bid so far lol how could the nrl turn them down?

Have the rubbish crowds in New Zealand harmed the chances of NZ2?

unfortunately I think so.
As much as the crowds for England vs Tonga have killed any chance of samoa touring next year

investing lol

I’ve provided links which show afl ranks last in many measures In qld

they have fallen for their own bs metric in Auskick numbers reflecting growth

qld is their operation Barbarossa

seriously, arguing that a 'pokie den' should be a mandatory requirement for a team to enter the NRL is so f**king backwards.
Agreed it’s held back the dolphins from success

similarly easts tigers will also struggle financially

Except the current Christchurch bid being put together you would be spot on
