Good job they didnt listen to you about crowds in 1997 to base decisions in the 21st century on lol

There still won't be a team in Perth when the next TV deal is negotiated. PNG will have one. Let that sink in you miserable arsehole.

The fact you think I have an "alt" proves you're insane.

I'm having fun watching you try to convince yourself that Perth is getting a licence. It's hilarious. The funniest thing is you've been doing it for 15 years. You don't learn from your mistakes.

The other day I clicked on "Show Ignored Content" and saw Dullard from Cairns going psycho over the use of "tuition" instead of "HECS". The pair of you are both crazy and dumb.

Im not convinced of anything, I fully expect Perth not to get a license. Its rugba league and we have a track record going way back of myopic and conservative decision making, its in our DNA as a sport.

Doesnt mean I dont think we should have one, and like to chew the fat sharing why I think we should have one.

I used to think Pippen was your alter ego who was abusive and a twat whilst you were civilised and open to sensible discussion, now you are both the same Im not sure, unless your alter ego has totally taken over both personas now lol

When Perth has 60k registered players and a 50k rectangular stadium with an average of 100k people watching each game on 9Gem then it will deserve a team.

haha, is that the criteria for any new club? cuckoo cuckoo
I'm using your logic to prove you're a hypocrite. You took the bait. You said Brisbane 2 needed to generate $45-50m from football operations, just like the Broncos, or it will fail. It was your usual tactic of setting an unreasonable target so you could then argue that Perth should get the licence. You death ride every bid that's not from Perth and turn a blind eye to Perth's shortcomings.

Brisbane2 was, Dolphins less so. I wanted to see a genuine Brisbane 2 that filled the Broncos gap and played FT out of Suncorp. We ended up with a Brisbane2 that didnt do that, hence the call for Brisbane3.
If it was, for example the Firehawks based in the inner city playing 100% out of Suncorp (i.e. carbon copy of the Broncos), there would have been a need for two extra teams because the huge Western and Northern growth corridors would still be unattended

Broncos have always been affiliated with the west, dolphins are now "The" new north, Titans can have the scraps of the south and tweed

I feel like this expansion subject has gone pretty cold, whereas in off season, I would have expected this to be a dominating story if the NRL are as close to making a decision as many people think they are.

No formal NRL invitation for expressions of interest or bids tells me the NRL are far from ready to make a decision on expansion.

Is it possible the NRL are giving themselves more time to prepare for three new teams at once? It didn’t work last time, but I think last time it was a very ad-hoc and ill prepared development.

I don’t doubt the NRL needs to increase to 20 as soon as possible. The NRL has an opportunity to really position itself globally as clearly the biggest and best club rugby competition in the world. I think 3 new teams at once will be a big disruptor to the current clubs and each will need a long run in to prepare themselves adequately for the extra 90 professional players required to fill them.

VLandys said during the week that team 18 will be decided by April. Hopefully a timeline for 19 and 20 too

Funny Perth red & gray dane advocate for crushers model as 2nd Brisbane team..
PR and I never advocated for any such thing, and the fact that you and others like you are so reliant on such weak strawmen says more about you than it does about us.

Furthermore, the fact that you and your cronies see these discussions as some sort of team sport where you are on one side and PR and I on another shows just how embarrassingly clueless you are.

BTW, next time you want to at me actually @ me you coward.

Firehawks said they were there to create a north south split of Brisbane. Broncos servicing the north, them servicing everything south of the river. No need for a third team.
