I feel like this expansion subject has gone pretty cold, whereas in off season, I would have expected this to be a dominating story if the NRL are as close to making a decision as many people think they are.

No formal NRL invitation for expressions of interest or bids tells me the NRL are far from ready to make a decision on expansion.

Is it possible the NRL are giving themselves more time to prepare for three new teams at once? It didn’t work last time, but I think last time it was a very ad-hoc and ill prepared development.

I don’t doubt the NRL needs to increase to 20 as soon as possible. The NRL has an opportunity to really position itself globally as clearly the biggest and best club rugby competition in the world. I think 3 new teams at once will be a big disruptor to the current clubs and each will need a long run in to prepare themselves adequately for the extra 90 professional players required to fill them.

PR and I never advocated for any such thing, and the fact that you and others like you are so reliant on such weak strawmen says more about you than it does about us.

Furthermore, the fact that you and your cronies see these discussions as some sort of team sport where you are on one side and PR and I on another shows just how embarrassingly clueless you are.

BTW, next time you want to at me actually @ me you coward.
I dont think he cares if you actually read it, so "ating" you is pointless, all you'll do is what you did..

Besides this thread is dead... 18th is coming and its not in brisbane nor will it be the firehawks

You don't get to play victim when somebody responds to you attacking them and if you're going to talk shit about somebody you should do it to their face, not behind their back like a bunch of gossiping high school mean girls.

And give us a break of the "waah waah you say things I don't agree with" routine you f**king baby. The whole point of this place is for people to share and discuss their opinions, f**k off if you don't like it.

If it was, for example the Firehawks based in the inner city playing 100% out of Suncorp (i.e. carbon copy of the Broncos), there would have been a need for two extra teams because the huge Western and Northern growth corridors would still be unattended
ideally you would bring in a Sunshine Coast team imo... that would be SEQLD covered. Two Brisbane clubs, Titans and Sunshine Coast.

Why would you add a team to the Sunshine Coast when the Titans have struggled?

Gold Coast is twice the size and has a larger economy than Sunshine Coast. It the Titans struggle on the Gold Coast then Sunshine Coast has no chance.

Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast are Queensland's Wollongong and Central Coast.

You wouldn't have replied and brought it up if you truly didn't care...

Why is it that you always revert to asserting that people are upset or angry when they challenge you?

What happens to a person like you to make them totally incapable of engaging with people honestly and in good faith?

Do you genuinely believe that slyly insulting a person or attacking their character then playing dumb about it makes you look good?

I have so many questions...

Titans struggles have nothing to do with location. More to do with poor management and recruitment...

Yeh because the Brisbane and Perth rugby league markets are exactly the same. cuckoo cuckoo
That's the point f**khead!

Perth doesn't have a rugby league market because it's a dyed in the wool fumbleball city. Everyone in the country understands this except you.

It will take a significant investment to overcome this hurdle, yet you've deluded yourself into thinking a Perth-based team doesn't need much money to be successful. That's complete bullshit and only a delusional dickhead would believe it. The Melbourne Storm have shown us what's needed for a team in a rusted on fumbleball market to succeed. Perth won't have the same luxuries as Melbourne and won't have the same drawing power in the player market because it's not a global city. If its pitch is "come to Perth because we have beaches" then Gold Coast Titans, Manly Waringah Sea Eagles and Cronulla Sutherland Sharks have that market covered. Not having pokies makes it even harder. Storm had pokies at one stage to make ends meet.

Well I'm from the city and pretty happy that we have such a proud old club filling an important corner of the city at NRL level. Add the Jets out West and we are set 👌
I'm warming to the idea of a Jets and Tigers merger, based at Coorparoo because it has the facilities to support an NRL team. When a stadium is built at North Ipswich Reserve then 6 games can be taken there.

Brisbane Jets or South Brisbane Jets.

Green, gold and black.

Questions about me, or just plain ol' Questions, seems you're bored and enjoy writting very long retorts... I'm still in the not caring mood, you seem to be triggered by me or others that don't do the whole argument/discussion thing you think this forum is specifically built for... i personally just get my kicks from baiting you all...
