The thing against Marsh for me is that he doesn't open in Shield cricket (or has only done so a few times)...the order IMO is probably Jaques, Hughes, Marsh, Klinger, Rogers.

Marsh for the Test match 6, on the other hand...

Fair point .. but he seems to have a good technique and a good temperament which would make him a good opener. And an aggressive touch when needed.
