If anyone can find a way to lose to a very inexperienced Aussie side, it is NZ. Captain Taylor leading the way, with a terrible shot.

That turned and bounced a lot

Pattinson is a spinner now is he?

Seriously, what game are you watching? The first one was short and going down legside and it just bounced in front of Khawaja, no chance considering he wasn't staying low to the ground.

The other one was Pattinson again bowling short and straying down legside and Taylor smashed it straight at Khawaja.

You're easily impressed.

On a more important note, someone talking 'bout the tub festers head of hair... Brett Lee's looks like an emu's exploded on his forehead...

Because he's obviously not comfortable fielding in that position. Any experienced bat pad would have done a lot better on both chances.

Pattinson has potential but is still too raw.
Never been impressed with Starc and that has not changed today. Cutting should be in there ahead of him.
Siddle was okay. Not really threatening.

Unfortunately, the Kiwi's threw away their wickets. Wasn't necessarily good bowling on a good bowling wicket.

I could just imagine if Cummins was bowling, he might well have torn through this fragile batting line up.

I can't believe so many people got in behind NZ for this one. We struggled to beat the Zimbots for a reason. Thrashing Australia A round a village oval means nothing in the age of 20/20.

Because it's been shit bowling Thomas. Wickets don't count unless they're a result of unplayable deliveries

The vast majority of that looks to be passing south. The most northern bit of that big cloud southwest of Brissy looks like it might hit the ground but overall most of should pass.

But new cells will start popping up north of Brisbane, which is what we are already seeing ... and that is what we should be concerned with (not with what we already can see on the radar)

In all seriousness, are NZ cricketers professional? I mean do they make a living from the game like our 1st class cricketers do? They just seem to so carelessly throw away their wickets. Treating this like a bit of hit and giggle.

Wow it's Johnson mark II oh well you take em..
Never realized nz were this bad

The batsmen have no brains, never have. You can sometimes get away with it at ODI level and T20 is always a crap shoot. Test level though, no brains, no chance.

There's a reason NZ have only won 4 of their last 28 tests (about to be 29). Most, if not all of those were probably against Zimbabwe or Bangladesh.

Australia hasn't done anything that great, they've just allowed NZ to fall on their own sword because they don't have the brains to do anything else.
