Hate to beat a dead horse but I think we've gotta move on from Lyon too. Just doesnt look like taking a wicket and bowling him at thos stage is just negative.

The idiot selectors chose that Victorian nuffie in Sri Lanka who was so forgettable I have literally forgotten his name, when they could have seen what Zampa has at test level.

With the Aussies out on their feet (for nearly 4 hours in this session by stumps) and Starc/Hazlewood/Bird absolutely knackered, this is the perfect opportunity for Pakistan to cash in and score some easy pressure-free runs before stumps. If they get can the deficit down close to 100 runs without losing any more wickets, Smith won't be sleeping well tonight.

He is so incredibly innocuous. Im just amazed the bloke has taken so many wickets. Kohli will double his test runs tally after the series over there next year.

He'll go to India and bowl ok, the pitches will mean that he gets a lot of balls to skid and stay low at his pace...then every merkin will be jerking it and carrying on about him being thw GOAT again.

Hope Pakistan get through this little period. Don't expect them to get close to the total but it would at least make tomorrow a little more interesting.

Edit......Ha! Might have jinxed it.

The situation tonight reminds me of the Australia vs West Indies test at the WACA in 2009, when the Windies had that batting surge late on day 4 before falling 35 runs short on the final day due to a dubious DRS ruling
