That's a big call. I'm not sure the selectors are in the business of caring whether or not the skipper likes a particular player or otherwise. Their job is to pick the best team possible. Granted they are not actually doing that at the moment with their ongoing selection of Wade though....

Lyon has regressed but Smith doesnt set great fields for him. The rare times he sets a good field Lyon throws it up more. It's a tough one, Clarke was great at setting a field for the spinner.

I really don't know who replaces him.

There's a target for MMarsh - if he plays 20 years, 200+ tests, all at #6 he might get close - especially if Australia do him a favour and get Zimbabwe and Bangladesh over for some 5 tests tours
