As a kid of the 80s and teen of the 90s, you can recall WI teams with ease…

Haynes, Greenidge
Richards, Lloyd, Richardson
Gomes, Logie
Dujon
Marshall, Garner, Holding.
can’t think of the spinner…

Then Walsh, Ambrose, Bishop, Cummins, Hooper, Harper, Lara, Simmons, Arthurton.

It all went downhill after 1995.

This Year?

This WI batting lineup is as meek as a Dragons defensive line inside the 20.

Lawrence Rowe, Alvin Kallicharan... just an amazing conveyor belt, like the more recent Australian one, where world class players can't make the XI

They didn't often play a spinner as I recall - Marshall, Garner, Roberts and Holding - then Croft, Davis etc - often 4 quicks with Viv rolling his arm over - Lance Gibbs was around early on, but when you have 4 worlds class express bowlers, why play a mediocre spinner

What's the point in taking the stickers off thier bats? Or do they sell no name bats in Jamaica?

no sponsorship presumably - the stickers are often unrelated to who makes the bat... these fellas will be waiting a long while for someone to pay them to carry their logo
