That era of Australian domination deserves even more reverence as we were beating some very good teams. South Africa had some absolute legends in the early 2000’s. Pakistan also had some greats so did Sri Lanka, WI were still competing with Lara. New Zealand also weren’t walkovers and off course there was India.I agree with this.
McGrath also played against better batsmen imo. Test cricket was in a far healthier position than it is now.
I reckon its a chance to be another 2-dayer like last year.one more to go at the Gabba which will no doubt be another short test match
5 day test matches are pretty rare
