I agree with this.

McGrath also played against better batsmen imo. Test cricket was in a far healthier position than it is now.

That era of Australian domination deserves even more reverence as we were beating some very good teams. South Africa had some absolute legends in the early 2000’s. Pakistan also had some greats so did Sri Lanka, WI were still competing with Lara. New Zealand also weren’t walkovers and off course there was India.

I would sneakily have Harris in my top 5 or so on ability tbh. He was an absolute gun and would have been all time if he'd had knees that worked.
