England need 246 to win but will do it tough losing superstar opening batsman Lees for a magnificent 20.

Calls for Potts to be knighted, hailed an English legend and have a ground named after him.

Poms need 75 to win, the kiwis 5 wickets.

Root 67 no, after Stokes 54.

Will the lesbian lead the poms to a remarkable victory or will the nice guys finish first?

f**k me it’s like the Warriors vs Bulldogs
Nobody to blame but ourselves with that terrible start to day 3. Let's hope NZC isn't tweeting about umpire decisions like the Warriors.

Yep, the top 4 have been horrible, and the morning was horrific

still evens, but wish the new ball was closer

I don’t see us being this bad with the bat moving forward, they probably will though. Still positive about the series, unlike the Warriors

Tricky little session coming up here. Should be well over before the rain in the late afternoon.

Jeezus look at the overhead.

Old ball or new, you'd be glum at the prospect of facing Boult in deadset fog

Great day to be a lesbian, first the raiders win now Ellen leads England to a famous victory with 115 no.

Baz Mac got the poms firing, probably won't lose a test for the next 100 years under him.

Joe Root reached 10000 tests runs with this knock making him the 14th man to do so and the equal youngest to do so at 31 years and 157 days.

Tendulkar's record is 15921, it is possible (but probably unlikely) Root might top that considering his age, the number of tests England play and he'll likely become a test specialist in the near future.

Can’t believe the Kiwis lost that after being in such a dominant position, just far too nice.

CDG gone done a Paul Carige.
His run out was chortle worthy and fatal to the 3rd innings batting and then a front foot no ball wicket reversal on Stokes.

Pretty f**king embarrassing test for us, ineptitude everywhere
Root is a terrific player, but we should be beating them comfortably
