Well well
Nz blew it with the misconception that the weather will be perfect for the full 5 days

To the windies, I shall play the theme song to the great escape in homage to their efforts

Surely darren bravo is man of the match

Surely darren bravo is man of the match

Player of the match: LRPL Taylor

I'm with you on this one and it should have been Bravo, that is a dud call.
No doubt Taylor played a great first innings but his 16 off 61 was nothing short of inexcusable given the circumstances.

More great Hesson tactics - the man is a visionary.

Really thought McCullum should have opened with Rutherford given the weather. If we could have been 30/0 after 5 or 6 overs you'd think the Windies would have pretty much given in. Just terrible tactics - we looked like we were more worried about not losing the match than winning it.

I can excuse Taylor's innings because of the lack of composure of those around him - but he did need to push the rate when Anderson was in and looking solid.

If NZC had half a brain (which they don't), they would be wining and dining John Wright, reminding him his arch nemesis John Buchanan has gone now. One of this clown Hessons supposed skills is organisation. To either have no idea of rain advancing or to not have the dressing room control to change the batting order and batting tempo suggests to me that he has no ability to coach an international team. That was highly embarrassing and certainly not anywhere near the required standard
