Poor crowds today it seems. Parra v Penrith should get 20k plus, but radio reports have it at about 12k. Shocking for a local derby on a fine Sunday.

Seems like around 14-15,000 just going off a quick glance at the telly.

Interestingly, last year's game between these two teams at Parramatta Stadium in Round 4 drew 15,119.

Brisbane getting over 20K against souths on the same night that the Lions opened their season down the road is pretty damn reasonable. I was expecting something closer to 16 or 17K considering the reasons above and our mediocre start to the season.

Crowd are slightly down on same time last year. We still haven't had any Melbourne games. Wollongong, Parra, Canberra, Auckland have had poor/disappointing crowds this year.
