what more do the sh*thouse cronulla fans need, their team is in the top group of teams, a nice new grand stand.

the quicker the central coast sharks are playing out of bluetongue the better...

looks like the Islander experiment didn't work.

I doubt very much this game would have gotten over 10K if they didn't make the day free for Polynesians, so you could argue that whilst it wasn't a huge success, the concept definitely has merit.

If they keep doing it annually, and both teams are traveling better, the crowd could be massive.

I was at the dogs game and if there wasnt free entry the crowd would of been around 10k, they added 2-3k. I think Sonny Bill being ruled out on game day had an impact also but if they continue with it, it may get bigger.

2897 took up the offer according to one of the news articles I saw, so the crowd would've been just on 10k or thereabouts. I reckon Sonny's withdrawal probably cost us an extra 1-2k as well.

What's the crowd like at Canberra?

At a glance it looks like a standard Canberra crowd, maybe a touch more. However, it has been pissing down heavily pretty much since kick-off and given the frozen precipitation that is currently dumping just down the road, i'd imagine its f**king cold as well.
