2bg said around 20,000 and if so, well done.

cant wait to watch this on Nine, its a big game.

looks like a massive crowd in newcastle as well, not a bad game either

Great crowd, but it's a Fox Sports game, so unless your Channel 9 is different to everyone else's, your gonna get Roosters-Womanly.

i was watching the newcastle game on fox, and i had 2gb on the radio before in the lead up to the game in sydney.

stick to telling people that the nrl needs more memberships

Sorry mate, thought you were talking about the EAS game, as the previous poster stated the crowd was 20,104, and I thought your post was following up on that.

fair enough, my post was probably not specific anyway.

id posted my reply before the newcastle crowd was posted.

the Warriors need to build some roofs on their stands and enclose the ends. The conditions and state of viewing today was fan abuse!

Not wrong... Mt Smart remains as one of the most primitive venues to have the term "Stadium" attached to it's name.

I've seen enough of it on TV to know there's WAY too much open air area in that stadium.

The north end is never going to be closed up, it's too perfect for staging for concerts.

I agree the southern end urgently needs to link up the east and west stands. Apparently it might be in the pipeline for the 2011 rugby world cup.

But calling it primitive is way too kind to places like Brookvale, Toyota Park, Olympic Park, Kogarah, WIN, CUA Stadium, Parra Stadium.....

Interesting every time the Storm seem to play in Auckland, they bring terrible weather.

Last 3 crowds @ Mt Smart v Storm:
05: 7,898
06: 10,035
07: 6,209

Avg: 8,047

So 8,700 is an increase on both last years crowd and the three year average.
