OP is a problem for the Storm though, people simply don't want to go to OP. It's old, run down and has terrible facilities. The only GA is standing on the terraces, and how many families want to take their kids to stand all day when there is a chance of rain?

Unfortunately we have to wait until the 2010 season for this situation to be fixed. Hopefully the Storm have a relatively strong 2009 so that we can get big crowds in 2010.

The Storm's stadium isn't being built until 2010? I thought it would be finished in time for the 2009 season... That's pretty atrocious imo, it was originally announced at the same time as the Titans stadium too iirc.

why does it take 3 years for Victoria to build a stadium when Queensland can do it in 1?

and no it's not because Anna Bligh is a Titans fan :)

It's got a lot to do with the Victory posturing and demanding a bigger stadium.

Fair play to them. Better they get it now when the A-League is popular than risk having a small venue if the competition does an NBL on them.

I thought the GA over at the Lazarus Stand was seating Dasher.

Well Broncos v Cowboys is on track for 45K+, over 40,000 tickets have been sold for that match.

Surprisingly only around 15K have been sold for the Titans match, so lets hope for either a some big sales tomorrow, or a large walk up on Saturday night.

that game always pulls the crowds, something about a traditional rivalry that gets the fans in.

No source, but VERY reliable news that there is circa 5,000 tickets remaining for the Broncos/Cowboys.

Unfortunately, it's likely to be showery in Brissie tomorrow evening. Should be 45k regardless, good weather and a nice walk-up could even see 50k :D

We are missing your World Cup ticket updates in the international section!

Triple M says only 5,000 seats left

52, 500 - 5, 000 = 47, 500

Those last tickets should sell out though

Still a bigger crowd than the lions (HA!)

Suncorp holds 52,500. The 50,612 is a club record home crowd. That means that for a club game, it was the highest ever attended at Suncorp Stadium for the Broncos. The previous best was last year versus the cowboys, 50,400.

Ofcourse, State of Origin gets 52,500 or thereabouts each time.

Great effort to come within 2k of that figure. It must not be easy to sell every single ticket.

Speaking about Origin, every single ticket for Suncorp was sold out on Thursday within 20 mins, from a reliable source.
