there was 16500 in T-town, I don't know why 15500 is being reported, 16500 was what appeared on the big screen at the game..............................

Good to see no sub-10k attendances so far this season - hope it continues!

good point, by this round last year there had only been one less than 10K (manly V penrith). but by round 12 when the origin period started there had been 14, cutting this number down would be a big step forward for the NRL and looking at the fixtures there arent too many candidates up until origin to draw under 10K compared to last year.

Possibles could be:
Roosters V raiders, cowboys, knights
Parra V raiders, sharks
sharks V knights
raiders V storm

can anyone calculate every attendace so far in NSW, and then every non NSW game. i think that out of the non NSW matches, they could be just behind the attendances in NSW. just a thought.

I take it you mean averages?? I'd suggest with Broncos getting home crowds of 48 and 32k, and the Storm getting a 25k this weekend, that interstate averages would be higher then that of NSW...
I take it he means the total number of attendees at all NSW games vs the total attendees at all non-NSW games.

Non-NSW (8 games)
Total = 179,167
Average = 22,395

NSW/ACT (20 games)
Total = 311,656
Average = 15,583

Sydney clubs Only (18 games)
Total = 281,214
Average = 15,623

not really surprising, although the titans (13,817) and cowboys (14,943) arent going great after 2 games but they should improve as the season progresses. the sydney clubs are only around 400 people off last years average, hopefully they can maintain this level.

So in a 16 team competition there are 9 teams all from the same city. A total of 281,214 people attended 18 games there in 3.4 rounds. So in Sydney an average of 82,710 people attend live games each round.
Of the non-NSW teams, of which there are 5 teams, 179,167 attended 8 games in 3.4 rounds. So an average of 52,696 people attended these games each round.

Since the non-NSW teams all represent a city of their own, they average 10,540 attending each home game. Sydney is one city (with the inclusion of Illawarra) and so averages 52,696 attending home games.

Sydney does not account for 8 times the population of (almost) all the other cities represented in the NRL.

Statistics are far too commonly used to misrepresent data.

Well its a pretty stupid f**king question then isn't it. NSW has 11 sides, and there are only 5 outside. Even if they draw less on average overall, through sheer amount of matches, they will always be in front.

Wow. Surely that's the highest crowd in Canberra for a long time. Wait, I recall a game last year vs Storm that might have done similar if not higher. Anyway, very sweet crowd.

Lookin good for a 17600-ish average. With a crowd around 22k for Dogs v Rabbits and 15k for knights tommorrow, a good week for crowds

Since Rd 23 last year. We got 19K against the Dragons. Don't expect many more to come back. We are ABYSMAL!

That's probably what I was thinking of. For some reason I thought it was Melbourne.

The stadium is usually responsible for submitting the crowd to the club official who then must provide it to NRL Stats within 24 hours of fulltime (checking final ticket sales etc etc) - NRL stats has the final crowd posted at http://live.nrlstats.com/matches/nrl/match3127.html as 15,551
