If I was paying over $500K a year to sponsor a team, and I was asked to bastardise my logo for the privilege of forking over that cash, I'd be saying no.
The fact that one of the best teams in the comp has taken so long to get a major sponsor shows that companies prepared to spend a lot of money on sponsoring League are pretty rare and the clubs need to work towards accommodating sponsors, and not live in a dream land like some of the forumers here and say the sponsors should be compromising themselves so their logos become less effective for the sake of the jersey.
If that silver logo was used on a wet day on a muddy field, that logo disappears in like 5 minutes.
