On any given day NO club will have 100% of member base turning up to games - more like 50-60% would turn up due to other commitments. Our mandate at souths is to pledge financial support first and foremost and we live by that

so tonight we can expect 60 odd% of Souths members at ANZ
( about 13K)
cos most won't have to fork out a cent to get in ?

you're new pledge should be try attending games too... all games!!:sarcasm:

50-60% of ticketed members? Can you imagine if that was the case at clubs who played in suburban grounds...they wouldnt be able let more than 12,000 people in on the odd chance that the 'real fans' actually turned up

No the real fans pledge $500 per year to their club - if it upsets you that we have other commitments on some game days well you can lump it

Souths only have around 12k ticketed so 60% is down to 7200 and that's about how many will turn up tonight so should break 30k easily.

The Easter show is a pretty good drawer for the dogs also - just visit it anytime the dogs are playing and you will see. I have used the free entry to the Footy deal in the past. Don't think it's offered anymore.

Saints have announced on twitter this morning that they require less than 50 members to pass through 20k. They also said during the week that they were still sorting out seating allocations in some parts of the new Kogarah grandstand extension and that they have in excess of 10k ticketed members for Kogarah home games - that is awesome stuff.

Given our higher proportion of ticketed members verse non ticketed members, the increase in revenue for our club is great for the future and will no doubt lead to us being less reliant on leagues club grants etc if we can maintain and continue to grow these numbers.

Happy easter all

Great news mate particularly for a Club that plays at venues with a capacity of less than 20000.

Should be aiming for 30000 in the next three years.

Well done Saints!

I think once clubs start getting to the 20'000 area, the focus should be on keeping those members rather then finding new ones.

Great news for the mighty Dragons. We'll have to lean on Annesley for more upgrades soon...
