Nielsen's form has been poor lately.

He's not a bad player, but put it this way...if he was at any club bar the Storm, he wouldn't really be rated.

Wont hurt NSW when he has the ball, youll be screaming often "why didnt you pass", best assest in attack his is work-rate and the metres he makes from d-h in own-half. However he is outstanding defensively, hence the #1 reason he has been picked, so it wont worry me at all if NSW go after him.

Dont think much people outside the Storm & Queensland have a high opinion of him anyway so he not really rated now.

Sorry, what I meant by that was I doubt he would have been picked by QLD if he had have been at any other club.

They are the best club in the business, and make average players look good.

I suspect if Esi Tonga ends up at the Storm next year as Nielsen's centre partner, that Esi will be more highly rated by the end of the year.

At least Nielsen has some understanding of how Smith, Slater & Cronk play at club level so maybe not the worse option for a centre. At least it isn't someone like Ashley Graham!
