Something along the lines of...

1. Billy Slater
2. Darius Boyd
3. Greg Inglis
4. Justin Hodges
5. Jharal Yow Yeh
6. Darren Lockyer
7. Johnathan Thurston
8. Mat Scott
9. Cam Smith
10. Petero Civoniceiva
11. Sam Thaiday
12. Nate Myles
13. Ash Harrison

14. Cooper Cronk
15. Ben Hannant
16. Dave Taylor
17. David Shillington

Taylor or Hannant could make way for Johnson, who would shift either Thaiday or Myles to the bench.

Swap Shillington for Dallas Johnson ...... I'm happy to go with that.

Parker has been in great form also

He's unlucky

I think to be fair to NSW we should hone the team down to a squad of seven before the first game.

Then you might be able to play a couple of guys that are actually Queenslanders?

My Team:
FB - Billy Slater
W - Matt Bowen (I know he's not picked, why ?? )
C - Justin Hodges
C - Greg Inglis
W - Darius Boyd
HB - Darren Lockyer
SH - Jonathon Thurston
L - Dallas Johnson / Corey Parker
2R - Sam Thaiday
2R - Dave Taylor
FR - Ben Hannant
H - Cam Smith
FR - Petero Civonicevia

B - Cooper Cronk
B - Nate Myles
B - Dave Shillington
B - Mat Scott

Unlucky ones -
Matt Ballin (We know Cam Smith will play 80 minutes, if not Cooper Cronk can set in for 10 minutes)
Ben Barba (A star in NRL but the step up to S.O.O. maybe too much, give him a run in game 3 if he is performing well at training)
Martin Kennedy (unlucky to miss out but with the forwards picked above how can we fit him in)
Jacob Lillyman (not in my eyes, but hasn't let down Mal before so dont be suprised if there for Game 1)
Willie Tonga (cant get into the centres with Hodges and Inglis and wouldn't have on the wing)
Daniel Vidot & Jharal Yow Yeh (same reason as Benny, but if Greg is too FAT and SLOW then one i'd have Dan in for Game 2 or 3)

oh yeah sh1t i am missing 5 players from the squad... Harrison is another but my thoughts are where can you put harrison when you have the likes of the other forwards in front of him... maybe a straight trade for Shillington who hasn't been himself so far this year, but saying that as describes with Tonga, Shillington hasn't let Mal down in the past so will see him being picked on previous SOO series performances instead of the NRL 2011 season thus far.

why tonga on a wing, serves no purpose when we have a couple of gun young wingers with 40 odd games under their belt

I think Ben Barba is more valuable than Cronk as a utility off the bench.

Cronk is worth it though if Thurston or Lockyer get injured early in the game.

Cronk can also fill in for Smith...if needed.

So a player who can fill in for Lockyer/Thurston AND Smith Vs a player who has found some recent form and scored a couple of exciting tries

.......uhmmm, yeah

Cronk's a no brainer.

But Cronk will be starting next year as the halfback with Thurston at stand off. He may as well get used to Origin and be bleed in. Barba will get his spot on the bench next year if he maintains form. Don't get me wrong - I'm a massive Barba fan and was heralding his praises massively last year... but - unless Queensland lose the first if not first two games, I cannot see the need for Barba over Cronk...

Barba can't play any position except fullback, and can score all the length of the field tries in the world

but won't get picked unless slater is injured and then there are probly still better, safer options - boyd, hodges, inglis at fullback

no bench spot either, now or anytime soon

why bother talking about it ... its not gonna happen

Oink !
