If hayne is in form, no way in hell will ratstail get the #1 jersey before him

He will if he's in better form. And dugan's quality can not be disputed. Sticky seems to like his style better, so i would say if dugan is in form, there is every chance one of him or brett stewart will get the #1 over Hayne who often fades in and out of games and is not urgent enough at the back at times.

Best case for NSW, is that dugan, hayne and stewart are all fit and in form and force the selectors have to spend all night trying to figure out who to pick. The blues will need thier fullback to be in top form to be a chance

if all three of those blokes are playing their best i think hayne is the best player...however after the 2012 stewart had, if he keeps his form up i think he'll get the gig...especially if his brother is in the backrow

Hayne should be on the wing ffs. One of Stewart and Dugan needs to be in the side. They are too talented not to. Hayne can play Wing damn well - Stewart and Dugan are 100% fullback.

As a qld that's the team I fear most. Only positions up in the air are the halves and the bench.

It will be funny when they pick king again though.

Agree 99% only change I would make is to drop Scott or Bird for another prop if Soward isn't selected.

Selectors won't pick it, not a chance. By NSW law there must be at least one absolutely baffling pick in the centres (Tahu's glorious return no doubt), some absolute nuffie forwards, and one of the halves or hooker must be putrid (enter Ennis)

Also agree with that team. However, Gidley at hooker for the 80 or not in the team at all. Swap Gidley for a prop, like Douglas or Galloway.

Excellent, I only put him in because it seems inevitable they'll go for a bench hooker/utility.

There's always a "chance" of Farah getting in but he will have to be absolutely sensational to get Ennis off the grid. He will have to make him self aware to the selectors and say "Hey I'm here". I'd prefer Farah at hooker then anyone else but would take Gidley over Ennis.

We need a strong running Fullback I'd go Stewart or I'm going to slammed for this but Dugan (If in form and playing strong). They're active, they're fast and they're not afraid to run the line and take a hit-up or two break pressure off the forwards.

If Sticky didn't pick Farah last year, the chances of him ever picking him in a full strength side are slim.

TLL and Gal is the best starting front row Sticky can pick.

How rediculous. Gidley doesn't even play hooker in club football. Do you see QLD pick someone who plays in the halfs.

Gidley should be on the bench.
In SOO Game 2 last year, Gidley showed more attacking spark than Ennis or Farah ever have for NSW.

I understand he might be more effective off the bench, but it's hardly ridiculous. Gidley's energy starting at 9 could be what the blues need to get off to a good start.

Ennis and Farah have both been failures at 9 for NSW in my eyes. Sure Farah only got 2 games, but he still looked ordinary. Having said that, it wouldn't bother me seeing Farah get another shot.

Everyone can bag Gidley as much as they like for being poor in Origin, but the fact is, nearly all that shit he dished up was at fullback. Whenever he came on at hooker for NSW, he always gave the team momentum even if he made a few errors. I'd rather someone that can create opportunities then a deadshit like Ennis who is very predictable and boring.

I'd go 9. Farah 14. Gidley, but wouldn't mind if they swapped.

He should have been playing hooker for you Knights when Danny left. I know he has stated his fav position is fullback. Whats the point of being super fit, if all your going to do is scratch ya nuts at the back and make the odd run on the 4th.

Hookers a positon that any capable footballer can fill. Johns/Toovey started there in SOO. QLD have used Cronk to rest Smith.

Gids gave QLD headaches last year and should have been on from the start.

Ennis gets the ball out too slow, decides to kick early in the count and in the game and gives away penalties late in the match when where in front.

His a liability. I could handle Farah there, but if thats the case, why waste a spot on the bench, when Lewis can fill the utility role. So unless Gids is used for an 80min spot he shouldn't be there.

But we all know Sticky and his love of Gal and Gids having that blues passion.

If the Knights get off to a good start it will be 9. Buderus 14. Gidley, for better or worse.

I watched a handful of SL games last year, he was looking very fit and really got involved with the playmaking decisions.

Rick Stone did a good job, but with Waynes ability to create a top defensive team, you should come off with a very solid start.

Interesting though if Gids goes into the halves and shows some sound ability, Sticky might have different thoughts on where to place Gids in the NSW side. (hopefully not, I like young Stig and see a good future with him)

Would Buderus even return to the origin arena if he was asked too? I have a feeling he wouldn't.
