Our ptimary objective in Madrid was to get a clean sheet. An away goal would have been a bonus, but that became less realistic after we lost Cech

We got a clean sheet, despite the aforementioned difficulties we experienced during the game. Hence, 'job done'

Hmm, took you a while to actually clarify that. Sure, you minimised the damage, but I stand my belief about what this 0-0 draw means in terms of Atleti's chances

I couldn't give a stuff what the pundits think

Mourinho knows a lot more about winning Champions League ties than they do

Managers like Mourinho can get it wrong too; got it wrong with Chelsea the first time :D

I'm also entitled to ignore your opinion

Puhlease. It was a typical schoolyard remark that little bullies use when they try to put someone down. It means, 'shut up, you're not allowed to talk'. World ain't black and white Jimbo.

Besides, I said 'IF you ask me'. Not saying you asked for it at all

You suggested that we didn't try to score. I provided evidence to the contrary

Relatively speaking. It's hyperbole. Again, the world isn't black and white.

As I said before, I am not responsible for your misinterpretations

Perhaps you should ask for clarification next time, instesd of throwing your toys out of your cot

Good for you

Managers like Mourinho can get it wrong too; got it wrong with Chelsea the first time :D

Officials can get it wrong too

If I have hurt your feelings, I apologise

I know

That's why I said 'I didn't ask you'

Hyperbole...

No, you're just too vague, and you let it continue on and on before finally clarifying it. I'm not responsible for how vague you are, thus leaving how open your comments are to interpretation.

Officials can get it wrong too

The Garcia goal went over the line. Your team of champions should supposed to have had no problem getting over the line against 5th placed Liverpool anyway. You bottled it.

If I have hurt your feelings, I apologise

The only thing which is hurt is your integrity.

I know

That's why I said 'I didn't ask you'

Jesus, do I have to give you a lesson in past, present and future tense too?

'If you ASK'- future tense. 'I didn't ask you'- past tense. I was offering my opinion as a take it or leave it. But then again, it's just an expression which you're not meant to notice anyway. If I said, 'If you askED me', you would make a whole lot more sense. I don't know why you feel this need to be arrogant all the time.

Hyperbole...

"I am not responsible for your misinterpretations".

...Anyway, let's get back to Champions League...

FFS, are you still on about this?

Why don't you just admit that you went off half cocked and move on...

The final will be terrible, regardless of the combination you have 3 of 4 teams that will spend all night defending with 9 men. I suppose in recent years it goes good final, boring final, good final, boring final so it's the boring finals turn this year.

Pep is copping an absolute hammering in the media lately for his constant experiments, 5 changes per game being regular. Back to Jupp Heynckes football on the weekend, I expect the same tomorrow. I wonder if he really will get sacked, people starting to believe he will be dumped and return to Barca.

in before "reverse psychology" lol @ liverpool

Lol pathetic from Bayern.

Congrats Pep on turning one of the best, most efficient teams I've ever seen into a limp wristed, directionless, poor man's tiki taka bore.

Should have gone out to Arsenal and Man Utd tbh.

Bring back Heynckes!

True.

The key is that they were players tailor-made for Pep's style of football. They're suited to tiki taka and no players are better at taking advantage of turnovers of possession with high pressure.

But possession based football doesn't suit this Bayern squad. And Pep has failed to adapt.

The irony here is that just one year removed from pasting Barca 7 nil, Real are making Bayern look exactly like the team they famously pasted 1 year ago.

Did anyone else see this counter attacking reaming that Real are dishing out coming from a mile away?

Give Bale and Ronaldo half a football field of space and they'll destroy you. Great to watch.

Also, Neuer is so overrated. Cost them a title two years ago with his shit keeping. Whoever thinks he's the best keeper in the world, better than Courtois, is poorly misguided.
