Kangaroos jersey should be the only 'sacred' jersey in either code. Disappointing that the ARL sold it out.

As for the All Blacks, expected it sooner from that backwater shithole sport/country.

Fair enough. Don't pay much attention to the Spanish league. Last I saw they had UNICEF on their strip and it was a big thing as they never had a sponsor on before and did it for nothing.

Below are classic examples that show that you don't need huge billboard sponsors on jerseys (or even your logo) to get the recognition :

I am sure each of you can tell me exactly which clubs were sponsored by these brands and here we are still talking about them 20 to 30 year on!

In those days if you had supporter jersey without the sponsor you were seen as a tightass for buying your jersey from kmart….how times have changed. With some of the current jerseys i would actually prefer the Lowes or Best and Less version for $30 instead of the rebel ones for $160

Why have roosters never tried a true alternative…swap the blue with the red. It would look something like this. Either shorts would look good.

The blue yoke just doesn't pop like the red on navy, draws attention towards the bottom of the jersey.
