I'm not sure where you're seeing bronze. The colours are purple/navy/silver/white. You might have a yellow colour shift on your monitor making the silver look bronze. I'll give the jagged bolt some thought, maybe further towards the top.

it doesn't pop as silver on my tv or laptop, looks a little muddy for a silver on my displays so my best guess colour wise was bronze but i get the silver now... i've never been huge on the storm using silver mainly because the navy/puple/gold works well imo...

It's funny, people say this about the Storm, and were saying it for years about the Broncos, and then when they finally did it, everyone bagged them. I actually like the Broncos away strip (the only one I think) but I think using gold as the base for a Storm jersey would end in tears

i like the banana broncos jersey too... would have been interesting to see them use the more golden tone of earlier jerseys than the yellow of the newer ones... i wish i could get hold of a livestong broncos jersey, it and the teal ones are about all i am missing off my wish list...

Before even considering the shade of yellow, the Broncos should have just paired the design with maroon shorts. They probably didn't because it would ruin the side panel effect, another reason to not have side panels I guess.

at least the yellow jersey and yellow shorts ties in the side panel element... with yellow socks it was all too much but by the end of the year when they paired the yellow jersey and shorts with maroon socks it was a little easier on the eyes...

I disagree, I think though that the new logo is a big change from the old dark NRL and telstra premiership logos while the new logo seems to attract more light. I think it would attract as much light when the southern cross is replaced with the premiership trophy in 2014.

Got a bit confused with the Storm white and yellow jerseys til I realised the yellow one was a mock up.

Think the yellow one would look better than the white one provided they put purple shorts with it.

it's not quite what i was trying to create from the new ones but close enough and keeps the v and makes the armpit panelling match the front of the jersey unlike the new away one

With all drastic changes to the storm jerseys aside, the storm have really missed the mark on the away jersey.
To me an away jersey can either be the same as the home jersey just with different colours OR a completely different design altogether. The storm away jersey does neither of these. It does not have the "v" for victoria that they claim is so important to them nor does it incorporate the crown logo both of which the home jersey does. It is not different enough either to call it a different design altogether.

If we accept the home jersey for what it is then my slight variation to the away jersey (by including the "v" and incorporating the crown logo) brings the away jersey in line with the home jersey.
