16. St George - tank the year in an attempt to hire CB

Newcastle beat Roosters
Souths beat Penrith
Cowboys beat Bulldogs
Cronulla shock Storm

Week Two Finals:
Bulldogs beat Newcastle
Storm beat Souths

Week Three Finals:
Cronulla beat Bulldogs in front of 82,000 at ANZ
Cowboys beat Storm in a game considered one of the greatest games ever

Grand Final:
Cowboys beat Cronulla.

More heartbreak for the Sharks. Neil Henry retires. Craig Bellamy becomes new Cowboys coach. JT re-signs with Cowboys. Cameron Smith becomes first captian/coach in a long, long time.

FYI The only team who should've gone from Wooden Spooners to minor is Bulldogs in 2009!

I never make these predictions because I change my mind a dozen times leading into the season.

Will say this though, I'm not overly confident about the Cowboys being top four next season. Not because of their roster, but because they have a crapload of players off contract including Tamou, Thurston, Bowen etc. There's a lot of room there for distraction and disruption.
