Just seen the full membership tv advert for the first time. it is fantastic!! easily the best advert the NRL has done in my time following the sport.

Really captures the passion and importance of the fans, plus big names like thurston and DCE plugging the message helps. Its bright new era for the game and this sort of marketing reinforces the message to the scum like rothfield who will be left behind as the game advance

I'd love to know how the numbers compare to this time last year but thats probably a shade hard to tabulate.

Dragons- 13,073
Knights- 11,352
Bulldogs- 8,467

Roosters- 4,262
Sharks- c.3,000

total = 90,743

So thats approx 45% of last years total with 6 clubs to report any, so we are easily past the 50% marks.

by my count we are up 20k to this tally but it's missing some clubs and some of these figures are better then teams are getting this year(looking at you broncos, tigers and dragons).
