Lol as if people are bagging this crowd out. It looks great IMO.
it does look good, but when you see the reverse angle it seems that there is literally no one on the broadcasting side of ground
12,366 at Cbus. Bigger crowd than the last two years at Penrith.
But yeah totally shouldve been played in Sydney LOL
If the RLIF and ARLC are serious about growing the game in the respective countries, they should have played these tests in Port Moresby and Apia respectively. Sell-outs assured, publicity galore on the ground. This was just the cheap, logistically simple option.
I agree with the sentiment but I fear that niggling injuries would rule out 75% of the eligible players.
If we have stand alone origins, would love to see

Sunday 7pm: NSW vs Queensland
Week 2
Friday Night: NSW Cup vs Qld Cup
Saturday 5:30pm: PNG vs Samoa

Keep Origin on Wednesday night thank you very much.
That is where it is most effective.
Agreed, why would we want to change days when it is a ratings powerhouse on the weds night??? And worth so much to the TV deal.must be wednesday night. No other sport on. Gives the game national attention with no competition.
