2007 I believe .
I have been to every game ( Broncs v cows) since 06 & it has steadily declined .
Usually sits around 43k .
Last night was up against the Cricket .
Plus the humidity was atrocious .

I was up top in 718 .
Only got a wisp of a breeze every now & then .

Was worse on the train home ..the air con was hopeless .

Yeah, I can imagine it was fairly dodgy. I've sat in a totally breezeless Suncorp a lot deeper into the season and still sweated like Matt Dunning eating a Zinger burger.

Given all the circumstances I was actually pleasantly surprised that it managed to just tick over 40K. Can't please some people though.

The Warriors played while NZ was batting. Had WI batted first maybe the crowd at Mt Smart would have been bigger? I didn't even realise the Warriors were on - was sanding a window and listening to the cricket. Come to think of it I didn't hear it mentioned on the radio either.

Just had a look at the draw for next week.

Absolutely stupid idea having two Friday night games only 11km apart from each other at the same time (held at Parramatta and ANZ Stadium). Whoever made that decision needs to be sacked.

Whats even more f**king geniused is having us play Melbourne on a monday night in Tvl at 6pm.

Whatever genius came up with that needs a kick in the ass. Put that game on easter sunday night like they did a few years ago and you would get 20k-ish (they got 22k in 2012). The comp doesnt help itself sometimes.

Was going to say something about this as well....

7pm on Monday Nights are bad enough as they are. 6pm though....taking stupidness to a whole new level.

However, the Cowboys poor start to the season is going to further add woes to the crowd, which will be less than 10k.

Around 15-16k in melbourne I'd guess? 10k for two succesful sydney clubs is just a disaster for the nrl's target of 20k crowds. We need to be drawing min 15k for the avg clubs and 25k plus regularly for the big clubs. We won't get 20k with 10-12k crowds and the Broncos carrying everyone else.

I stand corrected. Despite featuring in 7 of the 17 lowest drawing games in 2014, the Raiders beat last years average by 2k. Well done Canberra.

Raiderdave, that's the same as a 267,915 crowd in Brisbane, isn't it?

fair turnout in Canberra considering we didn't have the help of half the crowd being Dragons fans this time.

far better then that pathetic effort in Brisbane anyway
2 million people & all they could muster is 40K
its ... tooooooo... steamy :sarcasm:

:lol::lol:

get some more of that goat piss XXXX beer into yous , you moaning sheilas:lol:

To be fair I've lived in Brisbane my whole life so am no stranger to humidity but the last 2 games at Suncorp were played in absolutely stifling conditions. I'm surprised 40k showed up to be honest.
