2016 Crowd Watch

I just checked the records for crowds for St George Illawarra at Kogarah (1999 - onwards). Tonight's crowd was the second lowest ever at the venue. 8,156 was the lowest, in 1999 against the Cowboys. Third lowest was 9,011 against Melbourne in 2007.

As a Dragons fan, I was sure we made some poor crowd numbers over the years, but am surprised to see that this game was our second lowest number since 1999. Yikes!

Nothing can compare to the rain storm in 2011 for the Broncos when the old east stand had no roof, that was ridiculous.

The long shot up the feild to the north end showed the stadium.
it looked the local footy finals ... A few thousand people.
The seating behind the posts and the hill pretty empty.
That's what happens when you play shit
Nobody could be stuffed showing up.

First time since March that we've (Souths) had a game in Sydney on a weekend. I would like to think we would get a half decent crowd with 3 game members etc but I'm still no that hopeful.
